MINUTES OF ANNUAL MEETING - 1987

The annual meeting of the Jericho-Underhill Water District was held in the United Church of Underhill in Underhill Flats on Monday, October 26, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Peter Mitchell, Moderator. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.

Action on Article 1 of the Warning:

On motion duly made and seconded, Peter Mitchell was elected Moderator for one year.

Action on Article 2:

On motion made and seconded, Susan Carter was elected Clerk for one year.

Action on Article 3:

The financial report, the Auditor's report and the report of the Board of Directors were distributed to those present. On motion duly made and seconded, the reports were accepted as presented.

Action on Article 4:

On motion duly made and seconded, the Clerk was voted a salary of $1,000.00 for one year plus reimbursement for telephone calls made for District use.

Action on Article 5:

On motion duly made and seconded, Harold Sargent was elected Trustee for the District for three years.

On motion duly made and seconded, Susan Carter was elected Treasurer of the District for one year.

Action on Article 6:

On motion duly made and seconded, Adrienne Berard, William Frank and Helen Miller were elected Auditors for one year.

Action on Article 7:

Harold Sargent presented the proposed revised regulations and a discussion took place on several sections.

An amendment was made to Section 26 to read as follows: "The following materials shall be used for repairs and new construction" and following item 3 under "Note" the following amendment was made .... and permit "alternative piping with at least 200 psi rating."

On motion duly made and seconded, the proposed revised regula­tions with amendments were unanimously adopted by those present.

Action on Article 8:

Harold reported that CVPS called to say they might replace the rusted electrical box near the Ken & Emily Mitchell property; however, they had not done the work so Harold will call again.

David reported that he had gotten two calls from interested developers. One call came regarding the Allen Bolio property behind the United Church of Underhill and the other regarding the Zen Wheeler property off Raceway Road.

David reported that the District is close to owning the well site land. It is in the attorneys hands.

The State Health Department has asked for some additional information and testing on the chemicals going into the ground on farm land north of the well site before they will give written approval for this site.

On motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn the meeting at 10:10
