The annual meeting of the Jericho-Underhill Water District was held in the Underhill I.D. School in the village of Underhill Flats, Vt., on Thursday, September 25, 1975 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Leo Maheux, President.

Action on Article #6

On motion duly made and seconded Alan Morse was elected to serve as Trustee for three years. Richard Boomhower, Matilda Dumas and Nancy Craig were elected as auditors for one year.

Action on Article #7

Lee Murray expressed condern for water lost through a leak during the exceptionally dry summer and also that the Greenmont Lumber Company was using water during the dry spell. Mr. Murray resigned as authorized representative of new construction, but will continue to negotiate on Manosh and Fischer-Porter bills.

Lee Dumas will continue to act as meter reader until a new one can be employed hopefully in time to read the meters in October.

Leo Maheux reported that the Elwood Pratt development on the Raceway will bear the expense of hooking up the water for the new houses.

We discussed expanding the water line further up Poker Hill, but there was the possibility the house would be too high in elevation and would not have enough pressure. A special meeting would have to be called and warned to expand the district, but the district is allowed to sell water to people not in the district.

We will continue to charge interest on delinquent accounts. (1.5%per month) Meeting adjourned as there was no other business.

Attest:

Kathryn Moore, Clerk
